

Mrs. McLemore was born April 12, 1941 to James and Ethleen Birdwell Nave.
Ann is preceded in death by her first husband James Hamley; her parents; one brother Billy Nave, and her second husband, Alvis McLemore.
Survivors include her daughters Sandra Sandlin, Shelby Smith(Ralph); brother Ernest Nave; step-sons Carl McLemore, Rick McLemore(Sherry); grandchildren Logan, Carla, Maegan, and Colton, great-grandchild Piper; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ann was a faithful Christian attending at Market Street Church of Christ. She was usually the first one there and the last to leave. Her weekday schedule was the Wellness Center for exercise and then to Owens or Pryor Street Senior Centers to be a “social butterfly.” She loved all things Atlanta Braves and was known as the “quilt lady.” She was Mama Ann to many. She loved big.
Visitation will be held at McConnell Funeral Home on January 7, 2025, from 5-8pm. A service will be held in her honor Wednesday January 8th, 2025, at 11am with Bro. David Cox presiding. Burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
