Bobbie Jean Bradford Potter, 92, of Athens passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Athens Health and Rehab. She was born January 26, 1932 in Limestone County to John Scott Bradford and Mary Thomas Bradford. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard, and her son, Rich.
Mrs. Potter was a homemaker and worked for the phone company. She was a secretary at Calhoun for twenty years and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Athens. Mrs. Potter enjoyed cooking, playing bridge and bible study.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Potter, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Potter Sunday, September 15 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Joe Teal officiating.
