There will be a graveside service Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Pettusville Methodist Church Cemetery with Thom Porter officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 - 3:30 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Mr. Stewart was born November 28, 1939 in Giles County Tennessee to Clarence Stewart and Mildred Davis Stewart. He retired from Ardmore Telephone Company. He was the owner of the previous Black’s Café in Elkmont, AL.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one aunt, Ruth Marsh of Madison, AL; and many cousins.
Pallbeareres will be Randy Stanford, Gary Compton, Bill Bolden, Terry Lane, Dickie Hobbs, and Stan Davis.
