The funeral service will be Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 3 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with James Lemay officiating. The visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 to 2:45 at McConnell Funeral Home. The burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Dorothy was born July 11, 1945 in Limestone County to Roy Lee Thomas and Mary Iona Miller Thomas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Lola Brown, two brothers, Donald Thomas and Robert Thomas.
She was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother, Billy Thomas and wife Betty of Athens; one sister, Betty Sue Foster of Athens; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Billy Thomas, Randy Kelly, Zack Kelly, Thad Gilbert, Jordan Foster and James Foster.
