Mr. Ed was one of our volunteers at the Visitors Center when I was President of the Tourism Association.  He was always the sweetest man and so helpful to visitors.  We will all miss him.   Jeanette Jones

The family are in my thoughts and prayers. 
Mr. Ed gave generously of his time and knowledge to the Athens-Limestone Visitors Center and the Tourism Association.  He would often come sit with Mrs. Grace when he wasn't scheduled and share tales of the community, farming and whatever the conversation turned to.  He will be missed.

My prayers are with all of you during the coming days and months!  Good memories of Mr Ed at Fullers , going with my granny Mae , Mother  , and with Daddy selling Sunbeam bread !  Love to all of you, Malinda, Wayne,John and families

Papaw was always so kind to me.  I loved his beautiful garden and willingness to share his knowledge of growing vegetables.  He gave great hugs! I'm sorry I was not able to be at the service since I was out of town.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.  All my love to the family.

Malinda .... I was thinking yesterday about how long I've known you and your family. We moved here from Florida in June of 1962. We joined First Baptist within weeks of arriving here. It just seems like I've always known you! Your parents were always so active in activities of the church. I will forever remember their beautiful smiling faces. Love you girl ....

Because Ed was such a great volunteer and hard worker, it is difficult to name one thing that stands out.  As a fellow Master Gardener, I feel that the cookouts that we had at his home must have been the best.  His generosity in letting us use his land and actually working, fertilizing and harvesting the garden showed what a fine man he was.  Our time with him was for many years from his sweet wife to his sweet friend, Gracie.  His intelligence and knowledge of growing vegetables was amazing. To sum it up, he was just a joy to know and work with. I'm sorry I did not get to say goodbye to him because of medical reasons, but I did see him recently in rehab and had a nice visit.  Keeping the family in our prayers.

I first met Ed at a CASA meeting. He helped vote me onto the Board of Directors and later helped vote me into the Chairman position. He was in all respects a true gentleman, good friend, true Christian and will be sorely missed. I always knew him as Edd and admired his handlebar mustache.

Sorry to hear about Brother Ed Hall's passing.  He influenced many for good and will be missed by this community.  He lived by faith and faith has led him to the Father's House.  Rest in peace.

What a wonderful person Mr. Hall was.  He always had a smile & a story to tell. I will truly miss seeing him from time to time.  Wayne, Rhonda & the rest of the family please accept my condolences in the passing of Mr. Hall.
