Mrs. Carwile passed away Saturday April 23, 2016 at Limestone Health Facility.
She was born August 15, 1915, in Limestone County, AL to David Andrew and Lou Alice Cole. She was a homemaker and Sunday school teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband William B. (Bill) Carwile, son Billy Dean Carwile, daughter Margaret Knighton, three brothers Robert Andrew Cole, James F. Cole, and Buford S. Cole, four sisters Lee Baker, Vera Morgan, Viola Newman, and Edna Norwood.
She is survived by her sons Maurice Wayne Carwile of Athens, David N. Carwile of Fla, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Carwile, Furney Wood, Wason Carroll, Stan Young, David Carter, and Bennie Hargrove.
