Eugene Forrest Bedingfield

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Mr. Bedingfield passed away on Saturday June 30, 2012 at McGuffey Healthcare Center.

He was born July 19, 1921, to Eugene Forrest Bedingfield and Ossie Tuten Bedingfield. He served in the US Army during WW2; he was retired from TVA and former Building Inspector for City of Athens. He was an member of Central Church of Christ, The American Legion and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife Corinne Bedingfield; two sons Forrest Bedingfield and wife Celeste, Keith Bedingfield and wife Debra; brother Dr. R.C. Bedingfield of Decatur, AL; grandchildren Matt Bedingfield and wife Ashley, Clarke Bedingfield and wife Dawn, Amy Bedingfield and Riley Bedingfield; 2 great grandchildren; several Nieces and nephews.

Pall Bearers will be Matt Bedingfield, Clarke Bedingfield, Larry Legg, Jimmy Legg, Gary Hill and Dave Howard.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s or your favorite charity.
