James Bishop Jackson

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Jackson died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Limestone Health Facility. He was born Jan. 25, 1932, to Paul A. Jackson and Margaret Ohmes Jackson. He served six years in the Air Force and was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, June Franklin Jackson; one son, Steve Jackson and wife Laurie; three daughters, Debbie Thomas and husband Jack, Kathy McBay and husband Keith, and Christa Baugher and husband Patrick; one brother, Don Jackson and wife Joanie; 11 grandchildren, Matt Thomas, Maggie Thomas, Alex Jackson, Sid Jackson, Luke Jackson, Sam Jackson, Brandi McIntyre, Casey McBay, Anna Baugher, Grant Baugher and Alec Baugher; and four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Thomas, Levi McIntyre, Mary Kathleen McIntyre and Uriah Nathan McIntyre.

Pallbearers will be Matt Thomas, Alex Jackson, Sid Jackson, Luke Jackson, Casey McBay and Grant Baugher.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Jackson and Alec Baugher.
