

The funeral for Lois Marie Pullum Pitts, 59, of Elkmont, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at McConnell Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Craft officiating. Burial will be in Legg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pitts died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at her home.
She was born May 3, 1950, in Limestone County to Dallas Pullum and Doris Elrod Pullum. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She worked for many years as a waitress at Old Gin House Barbecue. She was a happy, outgoing lady who was loved by many and will be missed dearly. The family would like to express special thanks to Valley View Health and Rehab in Madison, Hospice of Limestone County and caregiver Natalie Collins.
Survivors include her husband, Morris Pitts; two daughters, Sandy McKnight and Melinda McKnight Kimbrough, both of Elkmont; two sons, Wesley McKnight of Madison and Randy McKnight of Elkmont; a step-daughter, Melissa Glassco of Huntsville; grandchildren, Patrick and Christina Brewer, Jimmy Gatlin II and Dakota Kimbrough; step-grandchildren, Cody and Kristen Brooks; three sisters, Mary Newman of Athens, Nancy Simpson of Cherokee and Donna Ferguson of Courtland; three brothers, Bud Pullum of Town Creek, Stevie Pullum of Moulton and Eddie Pullum of Town Creek; and one great-grandchild, Avery Dale Gatlin.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Gatlin II, Dakota Kimbrough, Patrick Brewer, Wayne Pullum, Dallas Pullum and David Ferguson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Joe Newman, Donnie Newman, Eddie Pullum Jr., Ronald Cluxton, Ben Pullum, Ronnie Pullum, Eric Pullum, Myles Terry, Billy Wallace and Marty McClendon.
