Luke William Jones

Luke Willim Jones, age 33 of Hendersonville TN, passed away on Friday January 9. He was the son of Philip and Patricia Jones. He is survived by his parents, sister Lacey (Doug) Julian, brother Lance (Temi) Jones, nieces Blakely, Landry, Thea, Henri and nephew Jaxon and numerous aunts and uncles.

Luke was born on May 25, 1992 in Chattanooga, TN. He graduated from Hendersonville H.S. and Union University with a degree in Information Technology.

Preceded in death by his grandparents William and Leona Jones and Charles and Evelyn Harrison. He enjoyed Formula 1 racing, motorcycles, longboarding and Pokemon. Luke collected Hot Wheels cars and was also a great fisherman. You would often see him walking in the woods and enjoying the great outdoors. He once drove to Colorado in one day and enjoyed hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Luke was fortunate to visit China and would talk about all the different cultures and food there. He really enjoyed talking to his grandfather about his time in the military.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday January 14 from 12:00-2:00 at McConnell Funeral Home in Athens, AL. A service in his honor will be held at @ 2:00pm. Burial will be immediately following in Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St Louis Children’s Hospital.
