Mrs. Clay was born June 5, 1926 to Joseph Jackson Fitzpatrick and Christine Naomi Haney Fitzpatrick.
Her parents precede her in death, as well as her husband, Elmer Clay, one brother, Robert Allen Fitzpatrick, four sisters, Jo Wilma Harvey, Frances Harvey, Peggy Hill, and Shirley Dale Asherbranner.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy Dewaine Crawford, three daughters, Anna Joyce England, Kathy Marie Hemphill (Randy), Patricia Ann Haggard, one brother, Richard Wayne Fitzpatrick, two sisters, Jean Templeton, Eleanor Patterson, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Doug Colwell officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at McConnell. Burial will be at Sandlin Cemetery.
