Martha Lou Hargrave

The Funeral Services for Martha Jolly Hargrave age 85, of Athens, AL, will be Saturday May 5, 2012 at 1:30 P.M McConnell Memorial Chapel with James Lloyd Jolly Officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday May 4, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hargrave passed away on Wednesday May 2, 2012 at her residence.

She was born October 20, 1926, in Athens, AL to her parents Eunice Gertrude Rogers and Lonis L. Jolly. Mrs. Hargrave was a retired farmer’s wife. She was a member of Tanner Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Leo David Hargrave of 46 years, daughter Donna Marie Hargrave, three brothers Clarence Audrey Jolly, William Clendan Jolly, Noah Lee Jolly, and one sister Ruby Lucille Carson.

She is survived by her two sons James David Hargrave and John Edward Hargrave, two daughters Martha Jane Hargrave Whitt, and Mary Joyce Hargrave Johnston, one brother James Lloyd Jolly, and one sister Mamie Marie Jones, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be family members.
