

Marylyn Joyce Miller Loggins passed away on September 30, 2017 in Albertville, Alabama. Visitation will be at McConnell Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 12 until 2 P.M. Funeral services will be held at McConnell Funeral Home on, Tuesday at 2 P.M. with Brother Perry Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Athens City Cemetery.
Joyce was born in Athens, Alabama to Riley and Mary Eunice (Todd) Miller on
January 6, 1936. She attended Athens High School. She went on to earn cosmetology training at Johnson’s Beauty Academy in Huntsville, Alabama. She was a gifted seamstress and quilter. She enjoyed movies, caring for her two Yorkies, Sissy and Sadie, and spending time with her family.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Riley and Mary, brother Billy Miller and the father to her children Billy Jack Loggins.
Joyce is survived by her children; Debra (Greg) Schroeder, Madison, Alabama, Patty (Tony) Marshall, New Market, Alabama, Linda (Mike) Keller, New Hope, Alabama, Angie (Rodney) Collins, Albertville, Alabama, Kimberly (David) Stamm, New Market, Alabama and Steve (Miranda) Loggins Chickamauga, Georgia.
Joyce, lovingly called Day Day, is also survived by her grandchildren: Joy (Keith) Watson, Huntsville, Alabama, Tracey (Robert) Green, Huntsville, Alabama, Brooks (Samantha) Loggins, Madison, Alabama, Forrest (Emily) Williams Olive Branch, Mississippi, Amber (Perry) Wright, Scottsboro, Alabama, Lauren (Walter) Swords, Hartsville, Tennessee, Jacob Collins, Albertville, Alabama, Heather Hill, New Hope, Alabama, Brandy Hill, New Market, Alabama, Todd Loggins, Chickamauga, Georgia, and Alyssa Loggins, Chickamauga, Georgia.
Great Grandchildren; Grayson, Seth, John Robert, Lily Grace, Amos, Makayla, Trinity, Ty, Maelee and Avie.
The family wishes to extend their love and gratitude to Joyce’s daughter Angie, whom selflessly took care of our mother and Amedisys Hospice of Albertville for their support in her final days.
