Michael was born October 25, 1974 in Knoxville, TN to Jimmy Wade Black and Wanda Swinney Rose.
He attended Decatur High School. Michael studied Recording Technology at Full Sail University, and he studied to be an electrician at Calhoun Community College. Michael was an electrician at Trades Unlimited.
Survivors include his significant other Druecilla Marlow, father Jimmy Black and wife Judy, mother Wanda Rose and husband Wayne, one sister Susan Carlisle (Craig), one step sister Jessi Grant (Jon) one niece Anna Claire, two nephews Bryant and Brayden Carlisle, three step nephews, Nick, Kayden and Jarred.
Visitation will be Saturday April 15, 2023 at McConnell Funeral Home from 2:00-3:00 P.M. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Buck Collins officiating.
Burial will be in Lentzville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Swinney, Stan Swinney, Kenneth Monk, Craig Carlisle, Wayne Rose and Jon Grant.
