Mildred Stewart Breeding

Mildred Stewart Breeding, age 83 of Tanner, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Breeding was born October 16, 1930 in Limestone County to Ivan Benjaman Stewart and Velma Louise White Stewart.

Funeral service for Mrs. Breeding will be held on Thursday, January 16th at 1 pm. at Tanner Methodist Church with Ralph Johnson and Eddie Gooch officiating. The visitation will be Thursday, January 16th from 12 – 1 pm at Tanner Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Tanner Methodist Cemetery.

Mrs. Breeding was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted member of Tanner Methodist Church, and she was active in family genealogy.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jay O. Breeding, one son, Troy D. Breeding and wife Debbie, two daughters, Teresa B. Harrison and husband Johnny, Cathy B. Oakley and husband Mike, two brothers, William (Bill) Stewart, Franklin D. Stewart, one sister, Agnes S. Kelly, three grandchildren, Alan Dugger, Danielle Breeding Cox, and Tyler Ward. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Harold Stewart, and one sister, Laura Stewart Terry.

Pallbearers will be Stewart Terry, Steve Terry, Mike Terry, Stanley Cobb, Ben Stewart, Richard Phillips, Tyler Ward, and Tim Stewart.
