He is survived by his wife of 40 years Barbara Flannagan; daughters Misty Long (Ronnie) of Memphis, TN and Lisa Keeton of Athens; sisters Janet Pugh (Jimmy) of Athens and Ethel Cheatwood (Barney) of Athens; brother David Flannagan (Brenda) of Athens; grandchildren Ronnie "Lil' Man" Long, Madeline Long, Caleb Long, Devyn Keeton and Elijah Adams; great-grandchildren Waylon Jack Long and Lillian Grayce Long.
Mr. Flannagan is preceded in death by his parents Nell and Geneva Flannagan and brothers Steve and Jerry Nell Flanagan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 from 6-8pm at McConnell Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held on Thursday February 18th at 2pm at McConnell Funeral Home with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Logan Pugh, Bradley Wallace, Joshua Towe, Jason Wimsett, Devyn Keeton, and Justin Flannagan, with honorary pallbearer Elijah Adams.
