Funeral service will be Thursday August 26, 2021, at 3:00pm at McConnell Funeral Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brent Logan officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00-2:45pm at McConnell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Higgins Cemetery.
Mrs. Van-Hoozer was born October 4, 1952 in Limestone County, AL to John William Robinson and Sarah Charlean Smith Robinson.
She loved her children and grandchildren, enjoyed bingo, and loved dogs and birds.
Mrs. Van-Hoozer is survived by three daughters, Donna Emerson, Amanda Jones, and Crystal Van-Hoozer all of Athens, AL; one son, David Williams of Athens, AL; one sister, Carolyn Russell of Colorado Springs, CO; one brother, Jimmy Defoe of Athens, AL; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.
