Mr. Scurlock passed away on Wednesday August 12, 2020 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
He was born July 25, 1924 in Limestone County, AL to Charlie H. and Hattie Frances Scurlock.
Mr. Scurlock is preceded in death by his parents.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Athens, where he had been a Sunday school teacher. Mr. Scurlock was a Para Trooper for the U.S. Army for several years.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Scurlock of 67 years, one son William Stephen Scurlock of Atlanta, GA, one grandson Bradley Scurlock of Atlanta, GA and first cousin June Kirby of Muscle Shoals, AL.
