She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Watson Dalton and Viola Fannie Smith Dalton; siblings and her husband, Robert L. Skelton Sr.
Survivors include children, Eva Simpson (John A.) of Athens, LaTrelle Eidson (Louis) of Winterville, Bobby Skelton of Arnoldsville, Ken Skelton of Maxeys, Carol Blackwell of Athens, Jackie Chastain of Athens and Terry Skelton of Winterville; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Eloise Edwards (Wayne) of Athens.
A private graveside service for family members will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park at a later date.
