A native of California, Ms. Nelson was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Wade. She worked as an apartment manager for many years.
Survivors include companion, John Dobbins; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy N. Hopper and Everett Scotland; grandson, Ryan Hopper and wife, Shannon Hopper, granddaughter, Brianna Hopper and husband, Lamont Runsewe, granddaughter, Erika Hutchins and husband, Travis Hutchins, grandson, Paul Nelson and grandson, Devon Robinson; great-grandchildren, Matthew Hopper, Arabelle Runsewe, Aaron Runsewe, and baby-to-be, Skylar Hopper.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
