Betty Palmer

A native of Ware Shoals, SC, Mrs. Palmer was the daughter of the late Hoyt and Bertha Gunter Cooper and was preceded in death by husband, Robert Palmer, brother, Lamar Cooper, and sister, Katherine Wood. She was a homemaker and a member of Whitehall Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters, Jill Coker and husband, Lindsey of Watkinsville and Connie Tyler and husband, Roger of Stockbridge; sons, Larry Bodiford and wife, Donna of Athens, Ken Bodiford and wife, Lisa of Royston, Mike Palmer and wife, Jan of Hull, and Butch Palmer of Crawford; brother, Reece Cooper and wife, Betty of Bishop; 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, November 21st in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Buford Lockman, Larry Phillips, and Matthew Tyler officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Thursday, November 20th at Bernstein.
