Carrie and William (Bill) J. Conway were married for 56 years and raised two sons, Mike and Steve Conway, in Louisville, KY. She was an avid reader and enjoyed ballroom and square dancing with her husband and good friends. After Bill's passing, Carrie moved to Athens, GA to be near her sons. She lived a full life marked by devotion to her family and an indomitable spirit. Up to her final days, Carrie was sharp, quick-witted, full of sass and remembered everything, even things you wanted her to forget! With more pepper in her than most, Carrie never hesitated to speak her mind, making every conversation with her engaging and memorable. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. May those memories bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
Carrie is lovingly remembered by lifelong friends and family and her two sons, Mike and Steve Conway (Margarita Osorio).
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4 at Cave Hill Cemetery, Lot 502, Section 37, Louisville, Kentucky.
