A native of Nashville, TN, Mrs. Green was the daughter of the late John Payne Gross and Saidie Wilson Gross and was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Green. She was a member of the Baha’i Faith.
Survivors include daughter, Shirley Mann and husband, Henry of Belhaven, NC; son, John R. Green and wife, Ann of Asheville, NC ; and daughter, Janet Hurst and husband, John of Athens; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, February 23rd in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2PM prior to the service.
