A native of Danielsville, GA Mr. O’Kelley was the son of the late Frank and Lora Messier O’Kelley. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company. Mr. O’Kelley was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Haydee Villena O’Kelley of Athens; daughters, Catherine Harless of Warner Robins and Kim Tresco and husband, Rick of Houston, TX; son, Edwin (Eddie) O. O’Kelley, II of Athens; sister, Jimmie Shumate, and granddaughters, Ericka Harless, Lora Tresco, and Juliane Tresco.
Funeral services will be held 10AM Friday, October 16th at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father David McGuinness officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Thursday, October 15th at Bernstein Funeral Home.
