A former resident of Fort Payne, AL, Mrs. Poe was a daughter of the late Floyd Rich and Vernon Thompson Rich. She retired from Harco Drug Store.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, D.C. Poe and son, Darwin Poe.
Survivors include daughter, Donna Smith of Athens; three grandchildren, Faith Aids, Stephanie Williams and Brian Poe; two siblings, James Alton Rich and Janet Davis.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 9 at 2 p.m. at Chapelwood United Methodist Church with a reception to follow. Private burial will be in Fort Payne, AL.
