Gregory John Pyne

Gregory was born in DuBois, PA to LaDonna Pyne and John Pyne and moved to Toccoa, Georgia at an early age. He attended Stephens County High School and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Toccoa. Gregory had lived in the Athens area for many years and enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his mother, LaDonna Pyne of Colbert; father, John Pyne of Colbert, sisters, Tara Christopher of Colbert and Heather Terrell of Cornelia; maternal grandparents, Larry and Barbara Switzer of Virginia; paternal grandmother, Ellen Pyne of Pennsylvania; nieces, Olivia Terrell, Julia Terrell and Magnolia Terrell, all of Cornelia; nephew, Harrison Terrell of Cornelia; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gregory’s paternal grandfather, John Pyne, Sr., preceded him in death.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in Bernstein Funeral Home.
