A native of Pelzer, SC, Mr. Eaton was the son of the late Joseph and Estelle Eaton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; brother, Charles Eaton; half-brothers, Howard Eaton and Kenneth Eaton; and half-sister, Beatrice Laney.
He is survived by children, Joseph Henry Eaton, Statham, and Tammy Lynn Eaton, Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Wayne Eaton, Covington, Johnny Eaton, Atlanta, and Marvin Eaton, Covington; sisters, Lila Wilson, Statham, Doris Almond, Winder, Irene McTagert, Sandy Springs, Janice Eaton, Pelzer, SC, and Josephine Fernandez, Pelzer, SC; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, in the Bernstein chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
