Dr. Lillard was a research scientist for the Department of Agriculture. In retirement, Dr. Lillard volunteered for 20 years at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital where she accumulated over 8,000 hours of service. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband of 60 years, Dr. Dorris A. Lillard.
In addition to her parents, Dr. Lillard was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Dorris A. Lillard, who just recently passed away on May 20.
Survivors include her loving family and friends all over the world.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:30 a.m., in Evergreen Memorial Park, with Dr. Michael Helms officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Bernstein Funeral Home.
