She was born in White County, Georgia to Thomas W. Helton and Ruby Mulkey Helton and was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Hugh N. Ingram and a sister, Margaret Morris. Mrs. Ingram was employed with Alexander Wood Products, the U.S. Postal Service and the Environmental Protection Agency. She was a longtime member of Beech Haven Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Knudson, granddaughter, Heather Ward, sister, Eva Padgett, niece, Sue Barnes, and nephew, Ty Morris, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Evergreen Memorial Park with visitation one hour prior to the service at Bernstein Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
