A native of Wilkes County, GA, Mrs. Lewis was the daughter of the late Harry and Rentie Jo Lunceford Collins and was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer Lewis.
Survivors include daughters, Melynda Lewis and her partner, Steve Magid of Cumming, GA and Pamela Lewis and her partner, John Byram of Athens, GA and brother, Joe Collins of Tignall, GA.
Graveside services will be held 11AM Friday, May 10th at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Thursday, May 9th at Bernstein Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Buddy Christian Foundation, P.O. Box 903, Colbert, GA 30628.
