Jennifer Hobby passed away on March 18, 2023. Jennifer lived the majority of her life in Milledgeville, Ga. She attended high school at Georgia Military College (GMC) and graduated in 1980. She went on to attend college at GMC and was an English major. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Lawson Hobby and Shirley Harden Hobby of Milledgeville, Ga, and her older brother, Frank Lawson Hobby, Jr.
She is survived by her two sisters, Melissa Hobby of Macon, Ga., and Ronda Hobby of Bogart, Ga., and two brothers, Mark Hobby of Macon, Ga., and Chris Hobby (Anne) of Bainbridge, Ga.
Jennifer Hobby lived her life, always, with one foot in another place. And now, with one step—or two, or three—all of her is there. She left behind this place, our place, as gently and peacefully as she lived in it, loved by the people she shared it with. She leaves behind no children of her own but is loved and remembered by the many nieces, nephews, and neighbor children that she fostered as a beloved babysitter, aunt, and caregiver. She will be missed.
Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
