A native of Athens, GA, Mr. Thomas was the son of Harriet Holland Thomas and the late Jay Thomas. He was a self-employed contractor and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors in addition to his mother include wife, Nancy Johnson Thomas of Tyrone, GA; son, Michael Thomas; daughters, Krystall Fasel of Seattle, WA, Courtney Thomas, and Kasey Melkonian all of Las Vegas, NV, and grandson, Toby Fasel.
Graveside services will be held 3PM Sunday, January 19th at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Bernstein Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
