She is survived by her parents, Jennings Bishop Middendorf and Benjamin Wayne Middendorf and her soon to be little sister of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by her grandparents, Bob and Janet Bishop and Wayne and Karen Middendorf, of Athens, GA; along with her great-grandmothers, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
A memorial for Kate Middendorf will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Athens, Georgia at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to the Nancy Travis House in Kate's name.
