Mable Lee Fant Swatsenbarg was born on January 25, 1943, in Anderson, S.C. to the late Robert and Julie Burnette Fant. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mable battled Multiple Sclerosis for 47 years with grace, strength, and fierce determination.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Steve Swatsenbarg; daughter, Tina (Ronald) Favors; son, Steven, Jr. (Michelle) Swatsenbarg; four grandchildren, Marquez and Nathanial Favors, Alexis Mashburn, Cassandra Swatsenbarg; and one great-grandson, Julian Favors.
Mable is survived by four sisters, Ruby Miller, Jeanette Whitfield, Hazel Spence, Debbie Brown; and two brothers, Herman Fant and Larry Fant.
In addition to her parents, Mable was preceded in death by her grandson, Gregory Favors; sisters, Edna Greer, Eunice Freeman, Nellie Coleman; and brother, William Fant.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, at 2:00 p.m., at Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jason Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Trinity Baptist Church one hour prior to the service.
