Marian was born in Athens to the late James Russell and Agnes Mack Hopkins. She graduated from Athens High School and the University of Georgia, where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She retired from C&S Bank, where she served as a computer programmer. Marian was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Dawsonville.
She is survived her niece, Lee Cline of Conyers and her nephew, Steve Rhodes of Dawsonville.
Graveside funeral service and burial will be at 2:30 PM Sunday, March 10, 2024 in Oconee Hill Cemetery with Reverend Ervin Goss officiating.
