Mrs. Bishop was a native of Athens, GA. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Daisy Lester, and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Bishop. She lived in Florida for 29 years and retired from Ormond Memorial Hospital, Ormond Beach, FL, as the Head Dietician.
Survivors include Steve Bishop (son), of Hull, GA, Teresa and Jack Seeley (daughter and son-in-law), Jessica Seeley (granddaughter), and Blake Seeley (grandson), of Port Orange, FL.
Other survivors also include Hazel Lester (sister-in-law), of Nicholson, GA, Mike Lester (nephew), of Greensboro, GA, David Lester (nephew), of Athens, GA, and Marshall Lester (nephew), of Nicholson, GA.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on August 10 in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
