A native of Glasgow, Scotland she was the daughter of the late Francis and Isabel Rooney McLaren and was also preceded in death by her husband James M. Haggarty and son James Haggarty.
She was a homemaker of a member of the UGA Catholic Center.
Survivors include a daughter Isobelle Ellis and husband H. Kevin of Colbert, brother Christopher McLaren of Scotland; sisters Isabelle McLaren and Frances Topping of Scotland and Margaret Issac of Canada, grandchildren Kevin Ellis, Jennifer Fowler and husband Skip, Aimee Dillon and husband Chris, great grandchildren Devon, William and Logan Fowler and Sawyer Dillon.
Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday at the UGA Catholic Center.
