The only child of Henry and Frances Graff, Mickey was born in Rochester, New York and was raised in Bradford, Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. After serving his country, he enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a bachelor’s degree. Mickey was self-employed, owning a real estate title search firm until he retired. After spending most of his adult life in Bradford, he relocated to Athens, Georgia to be with his children and grandchildren.
Mickey loved his family and friends and had a special place in his heart for his boats and dogs.
He was an intelligent and humorous guy who loved to make everyone laugh, including his hospice nurses. No one was exempt from his humor, least of all himself. He loved a good movie, bowl of ice cream, and all four-letter words known to man.
Mickey is survived by his two children: Andrew and Jennifer Graff, his former wife, Katherine Graff; and his grandchildren: Charles and Beatrice Graff. He was preceded in death by his beloved dogs: Fonzie, Barkley, Bailey, and Tuffy. He will truly be missed and forever loved.
