Ralph Randall (Randy) Green, 62, husband of Cathy Timm Green passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012. He was the son of the late Milligan George and Jonnie B. (Redd) Green. He is survived by his wife, his sister Cheryl G. Cleghorne, 2 nieces Toni (George) Phillips, Amber (Terrance) Thompson and two great nieces and one great nephew. He is also survived by dear friends Linda Palmer and Ben Truitt and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Randy was a decorated Vietnam veteran. He served in The United Stated Marine Corps, having earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. He was a member of the American Legion and a lifetime member of the VFW.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter.
Visitation will be at 6:00 on Monday evening, July 23, 2012 at Bernstein’s Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 at the funeral home chapel. Internment will be at The Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
