Richard L. (Bud) Fitzpatrick, 92, passed away, December 18, 2010 in Saint Mary’s Hospice House.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Harriett Griffeth Fitzpatrick, two sons and their wives, Jack and Ceil Fitzpatrick of Rincon, Ga and Mike and Teresa Fitzpatrick of Watkinsville, Ga; one sister, Mary Edith Haggard, three grandsons and their wives, Ricky Fitzpatrick, Chris and Debbie Fitzpatrick and Benjamin and Katie Fitzpatrick, four great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Mr. Fitzpatrick served in the U.S. Army in the Asian Theatre and retired from Union Oil. He loved working with wood, traveling, boating on Lake Hartwell, and eating breakfast out on Friday mornings. He was a devoted, loving husband and father. He was loved and will be deeply missed.
Graveside services will be held 1 PM Monday, December 20, in Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Randy Knipe officiating.
