A Georgia native, Rodney was the son of the late Thomas Henry and Dorothy Taylor Wallace. He spent his career as a mobile home serviceman and enjoyed working on old cars. In addition to his parents, Rodney was preceded in death by two brothers: Thomas Taylor Wallace and Darol Lamar Wallace.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Wallace; children: Rodney Otis Wallace Jr. (Jennifer), Bobby Eugene Landress and Steven Wayne Landress (Mickey); seven grandchildren: Kacey, Faith, Ashley, Cody, Jasmine, Andrew and Krista; four great-grandchildren: Aiden, Madi, Delaney and Grayson.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Bernstein Funeral Home, immediately followed by the funeral service in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor Phil Robertson. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
