Sylvia Cecilia Kehaulani Toney

Sylvia was born January 4, 1939 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was the daughter of the late Francisco Montez and Helen Poaha Montez.

She has spent the last 37 years here in the Athens area and retired from Seaboard. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two children, Duwayne Mohina Montez and Jennie Lee Rosario.

Survivors include her husband, Arbra Toney; children, Richard Kalei Rosario, Reuben Pepe Rosario and Lance Thomas Kaui Rosario and his wife, Faye; brother Frank Montez, Jr.; sister, Jenny Naki; stepchildren, Felicia Davis, Kendrick Davis and Maria Rosario; grandchildren, Ashley Parker, Samuel Parker, Lorenzo Rosario, Luke Rosario, Kehalani Parker, Maddison Hart, Jordon Rosario, Bridget Mazzarelli, Christina Cutrer, KeKai Meyers, Glenn Meyers, Wayne Bates, Winston Montez, Kori Montez Gregory, Dhuntez Davis, Dnaijah Davis, DyKendrick Davis, Fredron Davis, Kendarius Davis, Wanda Brown, Robert Rosario, Richard Rosario and Danielle Rosario; 29 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Sylvia will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bernstein Funeral Home, 3195 Atlanta Hwy., Athens, Georgia 30606. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Bernstein Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in monetary donations may be made to the family thru Faye Rosario.
