Tonia was born in Athens on November 13, 1965. She graduated nursing school and later went back to school to become a massage therapist.
Tonia had many talents and could do anything that she could dream. She loved drawing, crocheting, cooking, photography, clay art, and baking. Tonia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Her favorite thing was to spend time enjoying the outdoors, horseback riding, and anything that involved the grandchildren.
Tonia is survived by her children, Nicky Williams (Heather Kirkpatrick) of Buford, Melissa Rudolf (Charlie) of Arnoldsville; grandchildren, Taylin Williams, Madisson Rudolf, Brennin Williams, CJ Rudolf, Brogen Williams and Jasey Rudolf; her mother, Pat Johnson (Rex) of Watkinsville; brother, Robert Askew of Comer; and stepmother, Patricia Askew of Macon; and her beloved dog, Little One. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tonia was preceded in death by her father, Richard Askew; grandparents, Anita and Wilburn Askew and O.C. and Helen Howington, and her aunt, Susan Crabb.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, November 28 at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Pastor T. Wayne Phillips officiating. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of the service.
