A native of Greene County, GA, Mr. Cato was the son of the late Henry Grover Moon and Eileen Ophelia Taylor Moon. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with Gold Kist Poultry.
Survivors include wife, Jean Cato of Athens; daughters, Sue McKinney of Athens, Darlene Frier and husband, Rick of Hartwell, and Gennie Cato of Athens, and son, Terry Henson of Athens.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, November 27th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Meeks officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Wednesday, November 25th at the funeral home.
