The Barrieneau family you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Alex had such a big heart and a real nice guy. He was a nice neighbor to have, and just know you could call on him if needed.  I often talked to him in the breezeway and invited him to church several times and prayed with him. He talked of his family often and had nice things to say. One of our other neighbors, said he saw him walking on the street to the store and offered him a ride to the store and home again.  I so which I could have known him better, he was just one that stayed to himself.

There are many folks here thinking of you, including Buck and me.  May our thoughts bring you some comfort during this difficult time.  Buck and Linda

Xan is survived by many loving friends and family; his aunt, Christine Brandon of Cumming, GA, his uncle Bill McKenney and cousin Neal McKenney and wife, Susie, and sons Mitchell and Bryson, all of Hendersonville, NC; his aunt and uncle, Walter and Alta Steele, cousins Lori Steele, Mark Steele and his wife, Rhonda, and their two children, Justin and Regan, all of Lancaster, SC. We miss him so much already but are grateful to have him part of our lives for 37 years, too short, but know that he is now in the arms of God and is healthy, joyful and at peace and will continue to shine his love on the rest of us until we see him again. He was a loving, generous, kind hearted son, brother, and friend and will be remembered by all of us for his loving spirit and we were blessed to know and love him. Xan, we love you and I know when I see you again that you will put your arm around me as you have so many times, comfort me, and embrace me with your love. Until we meet again. I love you. Mom
