Audrey H. Keller

Audrey Keller passed away on May 13, 2015, at St. Joseph 's Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia, following complications from a stroke she suffered on May 1st. Audrey was born February 23,1928, outside Roanoke, Virginia, to Herman E. and Geneva Chittum Howell. Audrey was the valedictorian of her graduation class at Stewartsville High School, and later attended the Woodrow Wilson Law School in Atlanta. She married Walter W. Keller, Jr., in Roanoke in 1947. Audrey and Walter had four children, who Audrey raised after Walter died prematurely in 1961. Audrey worked for The Coca Cola Company in Atlanta for 30 years rising to a position as assistant to the senior vice-president. She also acquired a real estate license and was associated with Northside Realty. Audrey was a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church for 62 years where she was a former bible class president and Sunday school teacher. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Aldo Liedtke of Lilburn, sons and daughters-in-law, Herman (Bud) and Mary Keller of Sugar Hill, Jim and Susan Keller of Lilburn and John and Barbara Keller of Greenville, SC.; grandchildren, Mathew, Kristopher, Jennifer and Catherine Keller, step grandson Noah Lineberry; great grand children, Jaxon and Ali Keller. Predeceased were grand daughter Lisa Ray and great grandson William Rodee. Funeral services in Atlanta will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, Kellett Chapel. Visitation beginning at 10 a.m.will be in the narthex. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton, Virginia. Arrangements by H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill.
