

On Friday, December 23rd, 2022, CH Bishop, a husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away at his home. He was eighty-two. He was born in Cleveland, Georgia, lived in Atlanta, Georgia, for sixty-three years and was currently living in Blairsville, Georgia.
Mr. Bishop retired from A&P Food Market after 43 years as Assistant Manager. He also worked as a school crossing guard for the Dekalb County Police Department for ten years. He also was an Army veteran serving ten years in the military. He was a member of First Alliance Baptist Church.
Mr. Bishop was proceeded in death by his mother, Fannie Mae Ledford; brother, Roy Bishop, and son, Curtis Bishop. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Faye Elizabeth Bishop; daughter-in-law, Tina Tallant Bishop; son, Steve Bishop; daughter-in-law, Angie Sewell; son, Chris Bishop; son-in-law, Michael Walls; Sisters: Len Pennington, Clara Burnett, and Joyce Capati; Brothers: James Ledford, Paul Bishop, and Randy Ledford; Granddaughter, Heather Victoren; Grandson, Blake Bishop, and Granddaughter, Kilian Bishop; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many others who's lives were touched by Mr. Bishop. Everyone is invited to the H.M. Patterson and sons-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30319, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for visitation followed at 2 p.m. with a chapel service with Reverend Curt Woods on Friday, December 30th, 2022, to reminisce, remember, grieve, and support each other.
