Catherine Jeanne Reineck

Catherine Jeanne, Age 85, resident of Atlanta, GA. died on December 16, 2013 after a brief illness. She was born on September 26, 1928 in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of Russell and Sarah Chick. She was raised in Toledo, OH where she graduated from Central Catholic High School and then received a nursing degree from Mercy hospital in Toledo. She worked as a registered nurse for most of her career in various hospitals and as a visiting nurse in Atlanta. She also served on the board of Metro Home Health of Atlanta for several years.   Preceding her in death are her siblings, Leo, James, Margaret, Eleanor, and Russell. She was married to and is survived by Bernard C. Reineck. They were married on September 17, 1949 and have been married for 64 years. She is also survived by her sons and daughters–in-law, Russell and Judy of Atlanta, Michael and Pamela of Atlanta, and William and Judy of Dallas, TX.; Grandchildren, Amanda of Houston, TX, Jennifer of Atlanta, Nathan of Boulder, CO., Benjamin and Rachel of Dallas, TX.   A memorial service will be held in the Brookhaven Room at Lenbrook Square, 3747 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319 at 11am on Monday, December 23, 2013.  H.M. Patterson & Son–Oglethorpe Hill is in charge of interment and will be handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org .
