

Charles was born in Newnan, GA to Charlie and Geraldine Coke on July 25, 1951. He attended Sequoyah High School in Doraville, GA. After high school, Charles attended Mississippi College in Jackson, Mississippi. He married Judy Wilkes and they had 3 children together, Michelle, Charles Jr, and Jason. Charles spent most of his professional career as a facility director serving multiple large hotels and business centers in the metro Atlanta area. He was a member of the Clarkson Masonic Lodge and supported his children by coaching in local athletics. Charles had a few passions in life, baseball, hunting, stain glass but all paled in comparison to the passion and love he had for his family. Charles utilized every opportunity he had to brag on his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Additionally, Charles was a very witty individual that often-had friends and family laughing and enjoying time with him.
Charles is preceded in death by his father Charlie W Coke and niece Tiffani Coke.
Charles is survived by his mother Geraldine Coke and his children Michelle Stephens (Randy Stephens), Charles Coke Jr (Lesley Coke), and Jason Coke (Rose Beck-DeBlasi). He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Janet Henderson, Charlene Coke, John Coke, and Gary Coke. Charles’ legacy will continue on not only through his children but his grandchildren Kate Stephens, Randall Stephens, Paige Stephens, Cassy Stephens, Lyla Coke, Sean Coke, and Jaxon Coke as well as his great-grandchildren Ryder Johnson, River Javors, Reese Stephens and one great-grandchild on the way.
Visitation, will be held Thursday September 27th, from 5 - 7pm at H.M Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Friday September 28th at H.M Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Burial will follow at North Atlanta Memorial Park. Arrangements are by H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel.
