

Eddy was born in Havana, Cuba, and immigrated to the United States in 1962. He proudly served in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Helen Galvez Prieto, his childhood sweetheart and devoted companion throughout his life.
Eddy held a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Thomas Villanova and a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. He enjoyed a long and successful career in accounting, retiring in 2000 from BellSouth, where he served as Director of Project Management and worked as an internal auditor.
Eddy was widely known for his sunny personality, his sharp intellect, and his deep kindness. He had a gift for making others feel welcome, and he cultivated many lasting friendships throughout his life.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy of love, humor, and integrity will continue to live on through his family and friends.
